Cazares Roofing

Another roofing company took over 6 months to work on a new roof for a two-car detached garage but they never finished and installed a vent improperly. Cazares gave me an estimate and within 24 hours had the problems corrected and the roof finished. They do what they promise and work with you to correct issues.

By far the best roofing contractor in Houston. During Hurricane Rita Mike Brinkmann the owner of Brinkmann Roofing Houston's largest & oldest residential and commercial roofing company in Southeast Texas ask me if " Cazares Roofing would be willing to sell the company because he can't compete with Cazares Roofing and Construction on price and quality, and said tell them I would buy their construction company out for several million dollars if all the roofing crews would agree." Cazares Roofing specializes in tile and metal roofing as well as hand nailed shingle roofs. Cazares Roofing is master certified with several roof manufacturers. These guys are real roofers and excel with steep roofs or high roofs and have their own sheet metal shop. Finally, so you don't need 5 different contractors to complete your home improvement project Cazares has Hardie plank crews and gutter replacement all in one builder. Why did I write this review because Cazares has reroofed atleast 100 homes and businesses for me the last 20 years with precision skill and honesty which is rare these days.

Terrible Experience – Unprofessional and Disorganized I had an extremely frustrating experience with Cazares Roofing, and I feel compelled to share it so others can proceed with caution. I initially contacted them on April 28, 2025, to schedule a roof inspection. We agreed on May 5, 2025, and I made it clear that I needed prior notice—either the day before or at least a few hours before the visit. They assured me this would be done. No one called or showed up on May 5, and I had to reach out myself. I was then told the inspection would happen on May 6. Oddly enough, on the morning of May 5, someone did show up unannounced and confirmed they were doing the inspection, despite my clear request for prior notice. Still, I decided to move forward and waited for the estimate. I followed up multiple times for the estimate and was constantly given excuses by Kevin. First, he said it would be sent within a few hours. After several days and more phone calls, he claimed he was waiting on management approval. Eventually, after more delays, I received the estimate and agreed to move forward with repairs, scheduled for May 15. Unfortunately, no one showed up again. I called on May 16 to find out why, and Kevin casually admitted they didn’t come—without an apology or explanation. He rescheduled for May 19, even confirming it via email. Then, on the morning of May 19 at 7:50 AM, Kevin called and said they couldn’t do the work because the shingles needed to be ordered—a shocking oversight considering this job had been discussed for two weeks. At this point, I asked to speak with a manager. A woman named Anna got on the line and essentially repeated everything I’d already heard. She apologized, but then again tried to reschedule the work as if nothing had happened. I asked to speak to the owner, and both Kevin and Anna told me the owner was “very, very, very busy” and that my number would be passed along—no guarantees of a call back. That was the final straw. Between the broken promises, lack of communication, and utter disregard for my time, I’ve lost all confidence in this company’s professionalism and reliability. Be very cautious if you choose to work with Cazares Roofing. In my experience, they were disorganized, unreliable, and unaccountable. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
