Fire Reconstruction

I had a kitchen fire on 07/26/2025 and I chose FRI for the reconstruction. There were 2 guys that I dealt with during the restoration process. Williams Perez was a Project Manager. He was very professional, always answered my questions and concerns. I asked him for modifications to my kitchen and he was very helpful and worked with me in every aspect. And he was always answered my phone calls. Luis Castillo, he deals with estimates and mitigation. He was very polite and professional. He also always replied to my messages and tried to work with me during this hardship. We had difficulty with communication with my insurance adjuster, and Luis was helping me to get the claim processed clearly justified. Overall with the whole team of FRI, I am very impressed and satisfied with them. 😊

My condo was flooded from a broken water pipe in November 2024. Fire Reconstruction (FR) reached out to me for remediation, and with the approval of my insurance company, I went with them. Having not experienced anything of this kind before and having no idea what to expect, I was so grateful to everyone I met and consulted and worked with. From the pack-out ladies who packed everything in my entire home, and those who prepared my furniture and possessions for moving and storage, to the demo crew, the rebuild crew, the pack-back ladies and movers, I was advised every step of the way by Luis Castillo and William Perez, and Rocky and Jason. Every step was planned, and work done and completed by such a competent, skilled workforce that I had no complaints or need to be involved other than asking and answering questions and going by my condo once or twice a week to see the progress. I was out of my home for six and a half months. Fire Reconstruction maintained communication with me throughout, and since. They worked well with my insurance company, my condo complex management, me and my neighbors. The work this company did in putting my home back together is difficult to find because it was done so well. The personnel I met were all professional, pleasant, diligent, and respectful, and worked from the moment they arrived, which was generally on time and occasionally early, until they left for the day, taking only a short lunch break between. My home was returned to near pre-flood status through FR's photos, notes, and careful box labeling. There were items like books and tchotchkes that I needed to reorganize a little, and a repair to my washing machine was handled quickly. I am completely satisfied with the experience of working with Fire Reconstruction and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a remediation company.

This will be a looooooong review but worth the read! September 2024 a vehicle hit my home 4x in a row. I didn't know what to do. A literal gaping hole was torn into my home, the main water line was severed and a load bearing corner was gone. After the police, first responders and neighborhood onlookers were gone I got no sleep because my home was vulnerable. The next day starting at 5am people started pulling up leaving business cards for restoration services. I was overwhelmed. Mark Craft Business Development Mgr. was the last person to arrive and patiently waited. He approached respectfully and kindly with a folder and was the only one who asked me how I was. Long story short I knew nothing about the process of restorative services and asked how much would something like that even cost? Mark said oh goodness nothing, we bill your insurance directly. He allowed me to think about it. I called him 3hrs. later and he stated he could have a crew at my house in about 30 minutes who could have my home at least cleaned up and secured by the end of the day! I chose Fire Reconstruction Inc. for both my clean up, securing and as my restoration contractors. The process has been seamless. Each situation is different and just trust the process. It takes only an instant for your biggest investment to be nearly destroyed, don't expect an overnight fix unless you prefer it to be cheaply done, and rushed. Each of the crews that did the work on my home were skilled artisans in their specific crafts. Framing, sheetrock, painting, installations, windows, framing, brick work, clean up, removal, garages, pack ups and pack outs, removal and return of contents, walk throughs, inspections, administration and billing... there's many moving parts and teams and leads and they keep all these parts moving and keep you informed. I'm so grateful to Project Manager Thomas Lowry, Rocky Allen Estimator, Jessica Kelley File Manager, Luis Castillo Bricen Restoration and Each and every single craftsman on each of the crews special shout out to Jose Repalo Mercado.. If I forgot anyone, please charge it to my head and not my heart. Kindly, and in community. THANK YOU.
