Fitz roofing company should be commended on job excellence with the roof replacement performed on our home. We appreciated their persistence with the wind and storm damage with our insurance company to make the necessary replacement ! This is an almost 1-year belated review but also to give a follow up after all the weather events we’ve had in 2024 that have really tested our roofing (e.g. Derecho, Hurricane Beryl). Let me tell you, if your roof has damage or is in time for repair, these are the people you need to book. Not one shingle lost from either of these huge wind events and our roof still looks amazing. Fitz Roofing is incredibly good quality work and amazing service. When they completed the service for us, they were very professional providing us real time updates on when to expect everything from supplies to when the roofing would start. Everything was quick and efficient with ample communication. Post service, they were also amazing providing multiple drone shot images of the roof to ensure we were happy with the product. Additionally, we had a bit of an electrical issue after the installation and they had an electrician come and help troubleshoot it within a couple hours. Please be sure to book Fitz Roofing, your home safety can be trusted in their hands.

This rating is 100% based on service and not the quality of the work. Quality was good, but last year in April 2025, I contracted with Fitz Roofing to replace my roof. They did this at a fair price and did a great job. I was contacted by my city months later, in August, telling me that the WPI8 certificate was not filed with the TWIA. The city informed me that the roofer should submit this. I contacted Korey several times via email. When he finally responded, he said the "Engineer" must submit this. He and his company are the engineers. He's the only person I spoke to. He gave me the pricing, the warranty information, the build specs, etc. Now, he refuses to reply to my emails. He and his company are the only ones who can do this. I'm only asking that they do what they are responsible for. File the certificate with the TWIA asap. Without this certificate, I cannot get the appropriate wind coverage insurance I need and am required to have. I have filed a BBB complaint as Korey won't respond...also note, his company is not BBB accredited but did say they were on their website.

Learn from my mistake do not give these guys money up front. You will have a tough time getting them to finish off your project. It was like pulling teeth to get these guys install a roof. At that, they never completed the work as promised by their estimator. Have them detail and itemize the work in writing! Delay after delay with no heads-up! Their explanation was, "rain events prevented our start date." It was like pulling teeth to get the owner to call me as well. The owner was argumentative explaining he was not going to put his workers in jeopardy by having them work in a wet environment. However, communication was nonexistent after taking the deposit. No reschedule date communicated, No concern about rain communicated, No give us a some more time... Nothing but Crickets!... Their proposal is vague and misleading. Pay attention to their proposal. Again, ensure everything their sales guy mentions is added and itemized on the quote. Make them put it all in writing and with an itemized cost! I can't stress that enough. The owner will deny ever agreeing to certain repairs if it is not in the "contract." Here is the kicker. They never provide you with a contract, but simply a vague proposal. This, I think, is intentional by the roofing company to argue you out of what was agreed upon. They came highly recommended and was hoping the quality of their work would make up for their lack of customer service. I was very wrong their too. I believe they promote a superior shingle but their roofers are not true craftsmen. See the photos I added and go ask a seasoned roofer yourself. Don't take my word for it… On top of that, the roofers that repaired my roof were subcontractors. None of the roofers were wearing uniforms. They could care less about whether your home needs a quality roof. It is my impression that this company has gotten into the mode of "selling and collecting" instead of providing a quality product to an unsuspecting homeowner. Be cautious... I am usually very patient with builders but this company is not looking out for your best interest.
